§ Mr. Skeetasked the Secretary of State for Energy what electrical capacity will be required by the Central Electricity Generating Board to meet its commitments under section 28 of the Electricity Act 1957 (Obligation to Supply Electricity to the Railways).
§ Mr. Norman LamontExisting Central Electricity Generating Board supplies to railways accounted for a system maximum demand from British Rail in 1980–81 of 550 MW that is less than 1 per cent. of the capacity of the board's power plant.
