Mr. Prescott

asked the Secretary of State for Trade (1) how many seafarers employed on United Kingdom registered ships died as a result of falling down hatchways for each year since 1975; and what was the incidence rate of death per 100,000 population at risk;

(2) how many seafarers employed on United Kingdom registered ships died as a result of accidents in the engine
