§ Mr. Wyn RobertsIn January 1980, the latest date for which information is available, the number of full-time and part-time pupils attending either a nursery school or a designated nursery class in a primary school in Wales was 20,848, representing some 31 per cent. of the 3-year-old and 4-year-old age group. There were, in addition, 23,794 pupils aged under 5 years attending infants' classes in primary schools.
