§ Mr. Nicholas Wintertonasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if, in view of the urgency of the matter, he will now make an immediate decision on the application of Peter James Henry to stay in the United Kingdom.
§ Mr. Raisonapplication was refused on 18 May 1981. After considering the case, I could find no grounds for reversing that decision and I wrote to my hon. Friend on 8 July setting out my reasons and explaining that it would not be appropriate for me to intervene in the case while it is subject to appeal.
