§ Mr. Foulkesasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will initiate action in the light of the recent Court of Appeal judgment in R v Grossman to the effect that the Inland Revenue has no power to investigate bank records in the Isle of Man; and if this judgment will affect efforts by United Kingdom authorities to prevent tax avoidance by the use of the Isle of Man as a tax haven.
