§ Mr. Peter Morrison[pursuant to his reply, 17 July 1981]: At May 1981 the number of people registered as unemployed in the United Kingdom who last worked in the construction industry was 381,285. The corresponding figures at May 1979 and May 1980 were 174,656 and 204,574, respectively.
