§ Mr. Johan Fraserasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will list by place and by date those disturbances which have taken place in 1981 which have been treated as riots for the purpose of the Riot (Damages) Act.
§ Mr. WhitelawIt is for the compensation authority to determine whether a claim in respect of a particular incident satisfies the conditions of the Riot (Damages) Act.
The receiver for the Metropolitan Police district has accepted certain claims for the disturbances in Brixton on 11 to 13 April 1981.
