asked the Minister for the Civil Service why there have been no written answers appearing in the Official Report for the past week; and when they will be brought up to date.

asked the Minister for the Civil Service when it is expected that the Official Report will start again to print written answers; and if he will make a statement.

Following the all night sitting on Monday 6 July 1981 the Hansard Press has been unable to print written answers owing to priority being given to the printing of the proceedings of the late sittings of the past few days. Copies of written answers produced by other means for 6, 7 and 8 July have been supplied to the Vote Office for the use of Members. This service will be continued for the time being and the situation will be retrieved as soon as possible.
