§ Mr. Woolmerasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer what was the balance held by the national debt office on behalf of the national insurance fund at the end of each month since January and at the latest available date; what other interest-bearing assets were held on behalf of the national insurance fund at the same date; and what was the income on an annual basis to be expected from them.
