§ Mr. Trippierasked the Secretary of State for Defence what discussions have taken place between North Atlantic Treaty Organisation Defence Ministers about the stationing of theatre nuclear weapons in Belgium and the Netherlands.
§ Mr. BlakerNATO Defence Ministers keep all matters concerning the nuclear policies of the Alliance under regular review at the biannual meetings of the nuclear planning group. The Belgian and Netherlands Governments were party to and fully supported the Alliance's decision taken in December 1979 to modernise its long-range nuclear forces; both already have theatre nuclear forces stationed in their countries.
