§ Mr. Lawson[pursuant to his reply, 9 July 1981]: It is not the practice to publish forecasts of how the PSBR will be financed. So far in this financial year the authorities have issued two new gilt edged stocks with a value of £2.1 billion and three tranches of £250 million of three existing stocks.
