§ Mr. Peter MorrisonFor those trainees who completed courses under the training opportunities scheme in the financial year 1979–80—the latest for which figures are readily available—44 per cent. of those over 50 years of age, but below the statutory retirement age, had not had a job by three months after the completion of their course.
