§ Mr. StanleyI discussed the provision of hostels last November with representatives of housing associations, the Housing Corporation and the National Federation of Housing Associations. Following further discussions with the Housing Corporation new administrative procedures have now been introduced for approving hostels projects replacing on the capital side double scrutiny by the Department and the Housing Corporation with single scrutiny in most cases by the Housing Corporation only.
