§ Mr. PattieThe details are still being worked out, but for example the scale of the mechanised combat vehicle (MCV 80) programme will be reduced. Our procurement of the multiple launched rocket system will commence up to one year later than previously planned, and the entry into British Army service of SP 70 will be put back by one year. Our aim, however, is to ensure the progressive re-equipment of BAOR and to this end the planned buy of Milan firing posts and missiles will be increased. Priority will also be given to increasing supplies of ammunition and other war stocks.
