§ Mr. Altonasked the Secretary of State for the Environment if, in the light of the Under-Secretary of State's answer on 29 June, Official Report, column 680, on considering grant-aiding improvements to the gipsy site in Streatham Vale, he will make a statement on any financial provisions that Her Majesty's Government will make to local authorities who do not at present operate the Caravan Sites Act.
§ Mr. MonroGrant-aid towards gipsy caravan sites is statutorily restricted to those local authorities only which incur expenditure on approved capital works.
