Friend, the Member for Ravensbourne (Mr. Hunt) on 17 June.—[Vol. 6, c. 369.] Those staff of the new research and planning unit who are outposted to the prison, police and community programmes and equal opportunities departments will be responsible for their day to day work to the heads of those departments but will look to the head of the research and planning unit for professional advice and career management.
