§ Mr. Kenneth ClarkeThe Gwynedd county council wrote to the Welsh Office about driving tests in Welsh on 19 November 1980 and my Department, which is responsible for driving tests in Wales, replied on 8 January. Copies of the letter and reply, in both English and Welsh, have been placed in the Library of the House.
