§ Mr. FowlerIn co-operation with my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Trade, I take every opportunity to promote rail exports and, in particular, to further the overseas interests of the British Railways Board for which I have a special responsibility. There have been recent contacts between my Department and the People's Republic of China on railway co-operation. I have also had useful meetings this year with the Indian Minister for Railways and the Nigerian Minister for Transport.
