§ Mr. Kenneth ClarkeThe first published report on this survey, issued last year, indicated some reduction of defects on most types of road since 1976 and found no evidence of general deterioration. The report of the 1980 survey results will be published jointly by the Department and the local authority associations within the next few weeks.
