§ Dr. Roger Thomasasked the Secretary of State for Social Services whether it is planned, following the implementation of the forthcoming Health Bill, that the sick person will be expected to pay a fee for supplying his employer with a confirmatory note of his illness and that it will not be supplied free as hitherto.
§ Mr. RossiDiscussions are continuing with the medical profession on the arrangements for certification following the introduction of statutory sick pay, and no final decisions have been made.
