§ Mrs. OppenheimUnder the Price Marking (Petrol) Order 1980 it became obligatory from 1 January in the case of metric sales of petrol for the equialent price per gallon to be displayed with equal prominence to the price per litre, both at the pump and in any voluntary roadside display: enforcement is the responsibility of local weights and measures authorities.
