§ Mr. Alison80 buses were destroyed in each year at an estimated cost of £534,000 in 1979 and £536,000 in 1980. The figure of 74 which I gave in my reply of 2 June 1980 to the hon. Gentleman as the number of buses destroyed in 1979 did not include six buses damaged that year, but only later determined to be beyond repair.
