Total farming income in the United Kingdom is forecast to have fallen from £1,144 million in 1979 to £1,025 million in 1980. Further information is set out in the White Paper—Cmnd. 8132—presented to Parliament yesterday. It is too early to make any reliable forecast of farming income in 1981.
