§ Mr. Michael MarshallThe Government are concerned that the proposed liberalisation of the United Kingdom market for terminal equipment should be matched by reciprocal opportunities in those countries which seek a share of our market. The Government will, therefore, with the knowledge of the Commission, be holding bilateral discussions with Governments of relevant countries, to obtain appropriate assurances, before the market for the products concerned is opened to general competition.
