§ The Prime MinisterNo specific timetable is involved in the process, on which my right hon. and learned Friend the Secretary of State for Education and Science is now engaged, of appointing a successor to Sir Geoffrey Allen, whose period of office as chairman of the Science Research Council ends on 30 September 1981.
