§ Mr. KingA statutory invitation under the terms of schedule 32 to the Local Government, Planning and Land Act 1980, was today issued to Dudley metropolitan borough to prepare a scheme with a view to designation as an enterprise zone of some 540 acres in the Blackbrook Valley. Copies of the invitation are being placed in the 111W Library of the House. The statutory procedures of consultation and then the hearing of representations will begin shortly.
