§ Mr. Buchanan-SmithInformal consultations have been held involving the European Community, Canada, the United States and Norway with a view to agreeing the text of a North Atlantic salmon convention. Some progress was made and a further meeting is expected to be held in Ottawa later this month involving those mentioned above and other interested countries.
