§ Mr. Marlowasked the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster whether he will move to appoint a Select Committee to study the procedure for Prime Minister's questions with a view to ensuring that more questions are answered.
§ Mr. PymThe arrangements for Prime Minister's questions were examined by the Select Committee on Parliamentary Questions in 1971–72 and by the Procedure Committee in 1976–77. I do not consider that the appointment of a further Select Committee would be justified at this stage.
