Mr. Dobson

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment (1) if he will make a statement on the progress of the changes to be made towards ending his Department's day-to-day role in the approval, scrutiny and control of individual housing association projects funded by the Housing Corporation;

(2) what proportion of housing association projects will still be scrutinised by his Department after the day-to-day scrutiny is passed to the Housing Corporation on 1 April 1981;

(3) what criteria have been laid down by his Department for the Housing Corporation to apply in its approval, scrutiny and control of housing association projects from 1 April 1981.
