§ Mr. Onslowasked the Secretary of State for the Environment what decision he has now reached on the renewal of his Department's contract for the supply of building materials.
§ Mr. Geoffrey FinsbergI wrote to my hon. Friend on 9 January to tell him that the contract would be renewed for one year only, during which time arrangements would be made to encourage tenders on a regional as well as a national basis. The contract has now been let and I shall write to my hon. Friend with details.
