§ Mr. Mark CarlisleThe numbers of teachers expected to be employed in England in 1981ߝ2 is under review. The figure was 438,650 at the end of September 1979 and 428,998 at the end of September 1980. Part-time teachers are included on the basis of their full-time equivalence.
