§ Mr. Trotterasked the Secretary of State for Defence how the reduction of 15 per cent. in civilians employed by the Services will be divided between each of the three Services; and in which fields the cuts will fall.
§ Mr. PattieIt is too soon to say how the reductions will be achieved. The options are being considered, but will take some time. In addition to the three Service Departments, central staffs of the MOD, the Procurement Excutive and the Royal ordnance factories will also be affected.
