§ Mr. Wigleyasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will review the procedure with regard to cases where responsibility for receiving child benefit is transferred and the waiting time for that transfer is at least 13 weeks.
§ Mrs. ChalkerI am not aware of any general delay in transferring entitlement to child benefit. If the hon. Member has a particular case in mind I will be glad to look into it.
