§ Mr. O'Neillasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science if the deliberations of the new committees set up by his Department with the University Grants Committee and the Council of Local Education Authorities will be restricted to matters affecting higher 254W education in England and Wales; whether matters affecting Scotland will be considered; and if so. whether representatives of the Scottish Education Department and the Convention of Scottish Local Authorities will be included.
§ Dr. BoysonThe committees that have been set up will confine their deliberations to matters relating to England and Wales. However, the Scottish Education Department has been invited to send observers.
