§ Mr. Spenceasked the Secretary of State for Defence what progress has been made with regard to the sale of 116 vacant houses at RAF Dishforth since his letter on the subject to the hon. Member for Thirsk and Malton dated 20 September 1979; and if he will make a statement.
§ Mr. Pattie132 of the 195 married quarters at RAF Dishforth are surplus to Defence requirements. Discussions are continuing between the Property Services Agency as agents for the Ministry of Defence and the Yorkshire water authority about the adoption of water and sewerage services to them, but this problem has not yet been resolved. If it can be overcome the houses will be sold.
