§ Mr. WigginThe Forestry Commission, under arrangements agreed with Forestry Ministers, consults other land use interests both in regard to its own operations and those of private owners carried out under its grant-aid schemes. These consultative procedures are designed to ensure that forestry forms part of an effective pattern of rural land use, and experience to date suggests they have had a good measure of success.
