§ 39. Mr. Neubertasked the Secretary of State for Trade whether he will press for the negotiation of a code relating to restrictive business practices within the general agreement on tariffs and trade.
§ Mr. ParkinsonA voluntary code known as "The Set of Multilaterally Agreed Equitable Principles and Rules for the Control of Restrictive Business Practices" was agreed by a United Nations conference last year and adopted by the General Assembly in December. I see no need to press for a code to cover the same ground within the GATT.
