§ Mr. Eggarasked the Secretary of State for Education and science what courses are currently available to teachers in the maintained sector who wish to improve their ability to teach dyslectic children.
§ Dr. BoysonTeacher training institutions provide many one-year and one-term full-time courses for serving teachers, and some part-time courses of equivalent length, which deal with the education of children with learning difficulties including difficulties with reading and writing. Shorter courses are provided by local education authorities and other agencies including Her Majesty's Inspectorate.
