§ Mr. Beithasked the Secretary of State for the Environment what consultations he has had with the Countryside Commission on the proposal to close the commission's Newcastle regional office, in view of the fact that the facilities of the office are shared by the Regional Sports Council.
§ Mr. MonroThe Countryside Commission is currently reviewing its functions and organisation at the request of my right hon. Friend, and has yet to let us know of its findings.
