§ Mr. StanleyThe latest available estimates relate to average rents in England and Wales over the calendar year 1979. They are as follows:
Average rebated rent (per dwelling per week) of house tenants in receipt of rent rebate £2.60 Average rent (per dwelling per week) of council house tenants not in receipt of rent rebate £6.70 Tenants in receipt of supplementary benefits are excluded from these estimates. The estimated average rents are exclusive of rates.
