§ Mr. Ian Millsasked the Secretary of State for Transport when he expects his proposals to improve motor cycle safety, contained in the Transport Bill, to come into effect.
§ Mr. FowlerSubject to the Bill being passed in its present form, I would expect the new limits on machine size and the new provisional licensing regime to come into effect on 1 October 1982. As regards the two-part test, we are at present working towards 1 January 1982.
