§ Mr. Ray Powellasked the Secretary of State for Wales what is his estimate of (a) the number of disabled people registered as unemployed in Wales but who are unlikely to obtain employment except under sheltered conditions and (b) the number of sheltered occupations there are for disabled persons in Wales, and the number of vacancies there were at the end of January.
§ Mr. Nicholas EdwardsAt 15 January 1981 the number was 1,253. There are 1,670 places available at Remploy and sheltered workshops in Wales, and on 4 February there were 10 vacancies.
