§ Mr. Alexander FletcherI share the hon. Member's concern about the further proposed redundancies at Delta Capillary Products Limited in Dundee. The Government are continuing in their efforts to attract inward investment and to encourage indigenous companies in Scotland. For this purpose, Dundee benefits from special development area status, which enables companies located there to obtain the highest level of Government assistance for investment projects designed to create new jobs or safeguard existing ones.
