§ Mr. MayhewThe Boundary Commissions are required to publish their provisional recommendations. I understand that the English commission's proposals for constituencies in Liverpool and Merseyside are unlikely to be published before the summer. The Boundary Commission is an independent body and there is no action which we can take in respect of its recommendations until these have been submitted in a report.
