Friend has decided to adopt the commission's recommendation that the Director General of Fair Trading should for a period of two years follow closely developments in the tampon market and that, to enable him to do so, he should take steps to obtain certain information from Tampax Ltd. and Southalls (Birmingham) Ltd.
