Member for Newham, North-West on 23 January, if, without incurring disproportionate costs, he will give any information which may be readily available with as much detail as possible concerning the number of police officers who have been or are awaiting trial for alleged offences for the longest stated period of time; how many of these have been or are in prison awaiting trial and for what periods of time; and what are the costs of such imprisonment.
