HL Deb 04 February 1981 vol 416 cc1273-4WA
Baroness Masham of Ilton

asked Her Majesty's Government:

How many health authorities in England employ organisers of volunteers and which they are: and how many do not employ organisers of volunteers and which they are.

Lord Cullen of Ashbourne

The information is not collected centrally. A survey by the Volunteer Centre showed that last year 71 area health authorities had voluntary service co-ordinator posts.

If the noble Baroness wishes to follow up the position of any particular authority perhaps she would let me know.
