§ Mr. Geoffrey FinsbergAllegations of abuse have been made from time to time. The issue is one which we are considering as part of the review of the operation of the Housing (Homeless Persons) Act 1977, which we hope to complete in the near future. It is, of course, an offence to give false information to a local authority for the purpose of obtaining accommodation under the Act.
