§ Mr. Meacherasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department, in the light of the finding of the 73W Bloomsbury and Marylebone county court on 27 January that two police sergeants attached to Hampstead police station did on 6 November 1977 falsely imprison and maliciously prosecute Mr. Trevor Rhone and that they subsequently lied to the magistrates, the investigating officer, and the county court, whether disciplinary action is to be taken against the oficers concerned.
§ Mr. MayhewI understand that the Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis is considering what further action, if any, he should take in relation to the case.
