§ 16. Dr. Edmund Marshallasked the Secretary of State for Social Services whether he will now amend regulation 2 of the boarding out of children regulations 1955 to enable single men to be foster parents of children to which they are not blood-related.
§ Mr. Patrick JenkinAlthough, by their nature, there are few such requests, I am persuaded that the regulations should be changed to make this possible. I also propose to amend regulation 21 to increase the minimum frequency of visits in cases where special care is needed to safeguard the welfare of the child.
